Wind speeds on Friday, Nov. 15 will be 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Low humidity values of 20 to 25 percent will enhance the risk of fires.
Ninety-six percent of the Northeast is now experiencing abnormally dry to drought conditions, according to the United States Drought Monitor.
After a cloudy start on Friday, it will gradually become partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures generally in the low 50s.
High pressure will build into the region from the west for the weekend, leading to a bright and sunny day on Saturday, Nov. 16. The high temperature with be in the upper 50s.
Sunday, Nov. 17 will start off with areas of frost. There will be more clouds than sun for most of the day and the high temperature with be around 60 degrees.
After a cloudy start on Monday, Nov. 18, skies will gradually become mostly sunny, helping the mercury rise into the mid-60s.
Temperatures will become more seasonable on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with highs in the mid-50s and mainly sunny skies.
